Have you ever tried looking for a recipe, only to realize you have no idea what you’re looking for? This has, more likely than not, happened to most of us at some point during cooking. Here at Food Questions, we aim to bring you information and recipes in abundance. We are not professionals in the food industry. We are simple people, like you, trying to make cooking easier and more personal. We understand that not everyone enjoys the same flavors, textures, and measurements recipes may call for. We, at Food Questions, will occasionally provide information on suitable substitutes. To allow for a more enjoyable and personal experience, we sometimes leave measurements out of our recipes completely to give you experimental room.
We believe that understanding what you’re cooking is essential to enjoying your meal. This means understanding the terminology and preparation methods. We enjoy finding out what tricky food phrases really mean and the basics of each topic we discuss. If you have always been overwhelmed by recipes, there is no need to fear that here. Learning, assuming we know hardly anything at all, about the ingredients will be simple and entertaining. The way it should be. Too often, meals are bought frozen or mostly ready because we do not have enough faith in ourselves to successfully prepare “complex” meals. We hope to lessen this issue at Food Questions. You will, hopefully, be surprised to find that many of the meals you have been hesitant to make are not nearly as difficult as you might think. The only difficult parts are usually learning techniques and words!
We support yours and our own inner cooks and believe we can make anything we attempt (deliciously, too) with the right amount of determination, effort, and patience. Consider us a friend you might call when you have an idea of what you’d like to make but aren’t exactly sure how you should go about it. Your stomach and mind, as well as anyone else’s, will love you for leaving no food question unanswered… and we do hope to answer most of them!
